JERMAINE PENNANT is agonising over a dramatic switch across Stanley Park to join Liverpool’s arch-rivals Everton.
The winger’s Anfield contract runs out on July 1, making him availabe on a free transfer.
Goodison Park boss David Moyes is ready to snap him up but Pennant, 26, who was a £6.7million Liverpool signing in the summer of 2006, is concerned about the Kop fans’ reaction to such a controversial move.
A pal of the star admitted: “Jermaine wouldn’t want to do anything to upset the Liverpool fans who have always been good to him.”
